Nike Air Max 95 Kicks

Well, as you guys know, I believe a lady can never have enough shoes. Comfortable shoes though. Like loafers, Docs, oh and obviously, sneakers. So, since my birth year is even more trending than 20 years ago, we want nineties sneakers. Nike has been killing the sneaker scene and it seems like they’re not planning on stopping. I am already the happy owner of a pair of worn out Nike Thea’s, but a new model has been catching my eye lately. Obviously, I am talking about their Air Max 95 model. I cannot scroll through my Insta feed without seeing a dozen of bloggers with a pair of these on their feet. And I can’t blame them.

Honestly, these kicks are my favorite, this is what comes to my mind when I think about nineties sneakers. I love the purple/blue-ish color on the shoe tongue and the blue/green detail in the logo. It somehow reminds me of the old Nintendo/ gameboy games. I would love to wear these with a second hand sweater with a nerdie print.

This army colorway is super nice as well, I love the flashy orange and deep green. I would wear these babies with my The North Face Backpack-like backpack and a pair of sunnies.  Maybe put a pair of flared pants and cropped top into the mix. Perfect for a festival, but these dark winter colors are also great for a walk in the snow.

This angelic blue pair is super fresh and great for spring, but it also reminds me of the icy snowflakes I hope to see this winter. Wearing them with your dark warm coat will upgrade your whole outfit. Try to keep them clean though!

Silly story: I remember I got my first pair of Nike sneakers when I was 10 years old. They were bright blue and every kid in the playground loved them. My dad bought them for me and my mom was so shocked (“why is she wearing gym shoes to school?!”). Little did I know over a decade later, these shoes would still be a great love of mine. I own 3 pairs right now haha (I think I can use an extra pair anyway).

New Year’s Resolution

Since I will be leaving to California January 1st, I won’t be partying ’till the sun comes up this new year’s eve. I will be chilling on my couch, counting down the minutes with my boyfriend and loads of snacks. Anyway, in case you are a dancing queen next Tuesday morning, throw away your heals and wear a pair of these to the party. Your feet will thank me and your night will be more fun. And that’s what 2019 should be about, right.

What do you think about these nineties sneakers? And will you be wearing these in 2019?
